Betting and Game Rules

This page sets out the rules that apply to betting and play at Alfobet Casino: how a bet is accepted, how a result is settled, and what happens if a game or your connection fails part-way through a round. It covers slots, virtual table games and live dealer games offered in your account.

General Rules That Apply to All Play

These rules form part of our terms and conditions. Where a game carries its own rules, paytable or help screen, those apply to that game, and the rules below cover everything the game itself does not set out.

We hold a gaming licence and verify the identity of every account holder, so some features stay limited until verification is complete.

  • One account per person. You may hold one account with us, in your own name, and you may play only with your own funds. Duplicate accounts may be closed and play on them may be voided.
  • Age and location. Play is for customers aged 18 or over. Some games are not available in every location, and your lobby shows only the games available to you.
  • Real-money and bonus balances. Your account may hold a real-money balance and a bonus balance. Where both are present, stakes are taken in the order set out in the cashier, and bonus funds stay subject to the terms of the promotion they came from.
  • Bets are final once placed. Once you confirm a stake and the round begins, the bet cannot be changed, cancelled or taken back, whatever the outcome.
  • Stake limits. The minimum and maximum stake for each game is shown in the game itself. Any limits that apply to your account are shown in your account.

How Bets and Spins Are Settled

Every round is processed by the game server, not by the device you play on. The result recorded by the server is the official result of the round and decides what is paid.

Outcomes in slots and other random games are produced by a random number generator. Past results have no effect on later rounds, and no outcome becomes due at any point.

  • The paytable and rules inside each game set out winning combinations, feature rules and any cap on what a single round can pay.
  • Wins are added to your balance once the round is complete and settled. Where a feature carries into a later round, it settles when that feature ends.
  • The return-to-player figure for each game is shown in that game's information or help screen. It is a long-term theoretical figure across very many rounds, not a guide to a single session.
  • If the screen and the server disagree, for example after a display error, the server record stands and your balance is corrected to match it.

Malfunctions and Interrupted Rounds

Malfunction voids all pays and play. If a game, a feature or the system handling it does not work as designed, any affected round and any pay from it is void, and the stake taken for that round is returned to the balance it came from.

Lost connections and unfinished rounds

If your connection drops, or a game closes before a round has finished, the round is held at the point the server last recorded it. When you come back:

  1. Log in again and open the same game. An unfinished round normally reopens at the point it reached, so you can complete it.
  2. Where a round cannot be reopened, the server settles it on the result already recorded and credits any win to your balance.
  3. Where no result had been recorded, the stake for that round is returned.

In each case the server record decides the outcome. Closing a game, refreshing the page or losing your connection does not cancel a bet that has already been placed.

Playing with Bonus Funds

Bonus funds, free spins and other promotional credits follow the terms of the promotion they came from, which you can read before you accept it. The following rules apply while a wagering requirement is open.

  • Maximum bet. A maximum stake applies while wagering is open. Rounds played above it may be voided, along with any winnings from them.
  • Game contributions. Games contribute to wagering at different rates and some do not contribute at all. The rates that apply are set out in the bonus terms.
  • Order of play. Where your account holds both real money and bonus funds, the cashier shows which balance is in play and how much wagering is left.
  • Patterns of play we do not accept. Low-risk, near-equal-odds or hedged betting used to clear a wagering requirement is not accepted, and we may void the bonus and the play that came from it.
  • Expiry. Bonus funds and free spins run for the period shown in the promotion. Anything unused at the end of that period is removed.

Live Casino and Table Games

Live games are dealt by a dealer in a studio and streamed to your device. The rules of each table, including betting limits, side bets and payouts, are set out in that table's help screen.

  • Betting time. Bets must be confirmed inside the betting window shown on screen. Late bets are not accepted and the stake stays in your balance.
  • Dealer and studio decisions. The dealer's call on a round is the result of that round. Where a card is dealt in error, a hand is misdealt or a result is unclear, the studio applies that game's correction rules and the corrected result stands.
  • Stream quality. Picture quality depends on your connection. A frozen or delayed stream does not change a result the server has already recorded.
  • Unfinished hands. If you lose your connection during a hand, the hand plays out under the table's rules and settles against the bets already recorded for you.
  • Chat. Chat at a table is for play at that table, and access may be withdrawn if it is misused.

Questions and Disputes About a Round

If you think a round has not settled correctly, contact us and we will look into it against the server record. Please include:

  1. The name of the game or live table.
  2. The date and time of the round, and the time zone you are using.
  3. The round or game reference shown in your play history.
  4. The stake you placed and the result you expected.

Write to support@casinoalfobet.co.uk or use the live chat on the site. Please raise it as soon as you can after the round, while the play history is straightforward to match. We will tell you what the server record shows and correct your balance if anything is owed. If you are not satisfied with our answer, our complaints procedure explains the next step, including referral to an alternative dispute resolution provider.
